The Shyrga Tartu was another popular competition at the Eagle Festival in Olgii, Western Mongolia. In the Shyrga Tartu competition the eagles are released and judged on how fast they can catch a lure towed by the eagle hunter on horseback. The towed lures are either fox skin or rabbit skin, although in the old days, live prey was used.
