The Minster is the largest medieval cathedral in England. The glass in the east window, by John Thornton of Coventry (1405), forms the largest expanse of medieval glazing in England. Perpendicular style of architecture. The octagonal Chapter House, built 1260 to 1300, is on the right. On the extreme right of the picture is St William's College.
