Sanctuary of Saint Mary in Gietrzwałd. Basilica of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary visited by many pilgrims, the village shelters a Marian sanctuary known as the Polish Lourdes. Located between Ostróda and Olsztyn, it was a local place of worship of the Virgin Mary already in the 16th century.
