Although this is not a new plant, it is very rare. It belongs to the Ginger family, and produces the Cardamon Seeds of commerce. In growth it resembles a miniature Canna, and makes a very pretty little pot plant. The foliage is quite fragrant. Price, 15 cents each. ACALYPHA TRI- COLOR. A superb plant for the garden in summer, and for the conservatory in the winter ; foliage very highly colored ; bright red, blotched with deep crimson ; stands the hot sun very well, v^ry attractive. 15 cents. A. Mae:ifeaiia--Bright scarlet and deep blood red variegation. 15 cents. —Deep red foliage with a narrow margin of bright * scarlet. Price, 15 cents. ALLAMANDA HEN- DERSONII. A very pretty greenhouse plant, bearing deep yellow tube-shaped flowers, about four inches long and two inches in diameter, which are produced freely in summer. Plant of strong bushy growth, well adapted for pot culture. 25 cents each. AKEBIA QUINATA. A climbing plant, perfectly hardy, a rapid grower, very pretty foliage, which leaves early, rich plum- colored flowers, pleasantly fragrant. Price, 20 cents each. ANTHERICUM VITATUM VARIEGATUM.
