From the standpoint of architectural photography, or theportraiture of buildings, the most important quality of theneedlehole image is its geometrical accuracy. Provided thatthe camera is set level, be the angle of view wide or narrow theperspective will be absolutely true. As a rule in architecturalwork one must use a wide angle lens quite frequently, and inthat case more or less exaggeration of perspective is inevitable.
