Copenhagen, Denmark. 18th March, 2014. The check-in area for Ryanair’s first flight out of Copenhagen Airport. The passengers were met by demonstrators outside and inside the Terminal 2 not only from the flight crew unions, but from many supporting trade unions. Ryanair has refused to enter into a Danish collective agreement for crews attached to a new Copenhagen base. The flight was delayed more than 3 hours in Copenhagen before returning to Dublin due to delayed handling and refuelling. The next meeting in the Danish Labour Court is 26th March.
