Handsome landscape of large mango trees full of growing mango fruits with crops of rice and other grains in a lush green farm.

Mango trees grow well near rice farms as there is continuous supply of water and the soil in some parts of Gujarat is very rich for mango plantations. These varieties are called Rajapuri mangoes, take six to eight weeks to ripen, and are used to make pickles and chutney from raw and ripe fruits. Slices of unripe mangoes are eaten with salt and chili powder.
