NASA SpaceX Crew-7 mission launch
SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket and Crew Dragon Endurance spacecraft launching from Launch Complex 39A at NASA's Kennedy Space Centre in Florida, USA on 26 August 2023 for the Crew-7 mission. The spacecraft carried the four Crew-7 members to the International Space Station (ISS), NASA astronaut Jasmin Moghbeli, European Space Agency (ESA) astronaut Andreas Mogensen, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) astronaut Satoshi Furukawa and Roscosmos cosmonaut Konstantin Borisov. Moghbeli led as commander of Crew-7, Furukawa and Borisov were mission specialists and Mogensen was the first European to serve as a pilot for SpaceX’s Crew Dragon. Endurance docked on the ISS on 27 August 2023, around 30 hours after launch.
