Marines with Kilo Company, 3rd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment provide security during a mechanized raid after landing on Onslow Beach, North Carolina via amphibious assault vehicle Dec. 5, 2016 as part of Amphibious Ready Group Marine Expeditionary Unit Exercise. The simulated raid was conducted to better verse the infantry Marines in ship-to-shore movements from USS Carter Hall (LSD-50). During ARGMEUEX, Marines and will have tackled a wide range of operations and scenarios to improve their interoperability and amphibious warfare capabilities with their Navy counterparts
