Peduncles of pleopods 2 and 3 with close-set plumose setae along whole outer margin, rami equal and 65 per cent length of peduncle. Coxal gill of gnatho- pod 2 an elongate forward-projecting lobe, of pereopods 3-5 variously branched lobes on narrow stalks, and of pereopod 6 a complex, branched structure. Remarks In his brief description, Barnard (1940) described the pleopods of this form as having close-set plumose setae along the whole of the sinuous outer margin of the peduncle, although he found some specimens in which only the distal.
