Silver Candelabra for the Crown Prince of Sweden, 1850. 'These very beautiful specimens of plate, modelled and designed by Freret, and weighing nearly 1000 ounces, are from the manufactory of Mr. C. F. Hancock, of Bruton-street [in London]. They were ordered by his Royal Highness the Crown Prince of Sweden, on the occasion of his marriage, and have been just shipped to Stockholm. In elegance of design, and in the high and correct finish given to the various details, they exhibit admirable examples of the skill of our modern workers in silver'.
