Air Force Maj. William McMillian, 79th Air Refueling Squadron, copilots a KC-10 Extender over Northern California, Feb. 15, 2022. In recognition of Black History month, an all-black aircrew conducted air-refueling exercises to support training requirements. The Congress passed Public Law 99-244 designating each February as “National Black (Afro-American) History Month” Feb. 11, 1986.
