A Danish hunting-sword,late 18th century. Slender thrusting blade of flattened hexagonal section. Both sides of the upper half elaborately etched with ornamentation of tendrils,busts and trophies. Facetted iron knuckle-bow with decorated single shell-guard,remains of blueing. Original grip elaborately bound in iron wire. Length cm.
