James Bourne, esq. of Fenton, in theparish of Stoke-upon-Trent, in the countyof Staflord, descended from a respectablefamily in that shire, espoused, in 1766, Jane,daughter of John Dayson, esq. of Shelton,by Mary, his wife, relict of James Stanna-way, esq. and had issue,Ralph, his heir. John, of Fenton, merchant, 6. 4th April,1774. Charles, of Fenton, merchant, h. 21stNovember, 1776, who m. in 1798,Mary, daughter of William Edwards,esq. of Lane Delph, in the county ofStafford, and has Charles, RalphJohn, Mary, and , m. 4th October, 1794, to WilliamBaker, esq. of Fenton, and had issue. 32 FRANCE, OF BOSTOCK HALL. Charlotte, m. in 1804, to John Pratt,esq. of Lane Delph, and had Bourne d. 23rd August, 1789, and wasburied at Stoke-upon-Trent. His eldest sonand successor is the present Ralph Bourne,esq. of Hilderstone Hall. Arms—Arg. on a mount vert, and in basebarry wavy of four of the field and azure, acastle, triple towered gu. two flaunches ofthe last; on a chief nebuly of the third, thesun in splendour between two estoiles of thefirst. Crest—On a mount vert, a Pegasus sa-liant per fess or and gu. charged on thebody with two fountains ppr. in the moutha trefoil slipped vert. Motto—Haec omnia transeunt. Estates—The manor of Hilderstone andSpot Grange, in the parish of Stone, andFenton Culvert and Fenton Vivian, in theparish of Stoke, in the county of Stafford. Seat—Hilders
