The hob is closed on both sides with a column. The top is closed with a three-pass motif containing an angel's head and slender motifs. Entirely on top are three buttons. The bottom edge of the hob is damaged and torn from the top of the left column, via the left side of the robe of Justitia, to the bottom edge, so that the hob consists of two parts.
