Gibsons Bandage.—The initial extremity of the bandage(Fig. 46) is fixed with the forefinger of the left hand over thetemporal region just anterior to the left ear; thence the rolleris carried down the cheek, under the chin, up in front of theright ear, and over the vertex to its starting-point. Three suchcomplete turns are made. A reverse is made end of thethird turn and the roller is carried to the inion, and three com-plete fronto-occipital turns ending at the inion are made. Theroller is then carried around under the right ear, along the jawto the chin, over the front of the chin, along the left side of thejaw, and under the left ear to the inion.
