It forms a compact bush, 18 inches high, with leaves 6 to 9 inches long, 3 or 4 inches wide, and of the most intense metallic purple color, shading into light rose with a light green margin, a combination unapproached by any other plant, the flowers are a lovely violet-blue, very beautiful, of a Gloxinia-like appearance For a bedding plant it has few equals. In an exposed position its foliage colors highly, and is superbly ornamental. Creates a sensation wherever seen. 20c. each; 3 for 50c; 13 for $ Extra large specimens by express, hoe. each ;3for $ PETUNIA Doable Petuijia. A grand flower for pots, garden vases or for summer bed- ding. Their splendid large double flowers are fine in any situation and very freely produced. The two following sorts are the best.
