Somebodysuggested that theoriginal engineer se-lected would be justthe man if he couldhandle the throttleto which he hadbeen accustomed,and so the throttlewas substituted forthe wheel, andstrange to say, thegreat engine obeyedhis commands. Itwas simply a caseof the carpenternot being able towork without his owntools.
