The Martyr's Cross, Broad Street, Oxford. This marks the spot of the deaths of Nicholas Ridley (Archbishop of London) and Hugh Latimer (Bishop of Worcester) during the reign of Queen Mary in 1555. Thomas Cranmer (Archbishop of Canterbury) was also burnt to death there the following year.
