A Bornean Sun Bear, Helarctos malayanus, relaxing on a log. Photographed at the Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre (BSBCC), in Sepilok, Sabah, Malaysia. The sun bear is the smallest, most aboreal and least known of the bear species. According to the IUCN Bear Specialist Group, the total sun bear population has declined by at least 30% in the last 30 years (IUCN 2007)
