Loch Lomond, Scotland. Artistic sunset view of shores of Loch Lomond, with Ben Lomond in the background. At 24 mile long, Loch Lomond is the largest fresh-water lake - by surface area - in the UK. The scene was captured looking north-east from the shores near the village of Luss. This photograph has been produced by merging three differently exposed images of the same scene. All of which were captured at approximately the same time - on a tripod mounted camera – and digitally processed to produce the resulting artistic rendition of the scene.
