In December, 1920, authoriza-tion was given to install this transformer together with the necessary high-tension and low-tension switching equipment. This was completed by theCommissions Construction Department early in February, 1921. In December, 1920, the local Commission gave serious consideration tothe need for an entirely new station and it was decided to build one in thenear future and to make no more changes than Avere absolutely necessary in theexisting station. In June, 1921, the local Commission decided to build a newcombined substation and office building and requested engineering assistancein connection therewith.
