Elmer Stephen Tilton, who is associated with his father in the manu-facture of hosiery in Northfield, was a graduate of Laconia High School,class of 1887. He retains his residence in Laconia and representedWard Three in the Legislature of 1897-98. He was also state senatorfor the Sixth District in 1903 and 1904.
