The odontoma was ofcomposite structure, the central part being made up of what may havebeen the third molar, about which were arranged concentric layers ofcementum, and probably some compact bony structures. For the report of this case I am indebted to Dr. Don M. Graham, ofDetroit. Mich. 230 DENTAL RADIOGRAPHY 45. Co Observe Anomalous Conditions Such as the Tusion of the Roots oftwo teeth for example. The question arose: Are the roots of the teethfused also? A radiograph (Fig. 265) shows they arc not. It showsfurther that the crowns arc not fused cither, though, let me admit, Ishared in the mistake of the man who referred the case thinking theywere; and failed, as he had, in an attempt to pass a ligature betweenthem. It was not until I had the radiograph before me, showing me that1 was not attempting the impossible, that I succeeded in getting a silkligature between the teeth.
