The learned say, more-over, that, as the young of the Greenland Seal arefrequently known to make long excursions from theArctic regions, their proper home, and are occasionallymet with as far south as Great Britain, the presumptiontherefore is, that they not imfrequently visit the Scandi-navian coasts also; but,from bearing no very distinguishing •;?
