Mr. Mohr was born on July 4, 1849, in Oberlustadt, Rheinpfalz, Bavaria,the son of Jacob and Minna Mohr, and came to this country at the age of arrived in this new land of liberty and opportunity with little more than adetermination to achieve success in life. But he possessed the personal quali-ties and qualifications that usually make for success.
