Winter fishermen enjoy the minus 25 degrees on the river Ural
Winter fishing is a popular pastime in throughout the former Soviet Union and in Kazakhstan. whilst it is usually seen as an economic addition to the larder it is clear most men enjoy a day out on the ice with their friends. Most have modern, thermal clothing to cope with the minus 25 degrees and a small bottle of Vodka, nicely chilled, to keep the cold at bay.
