Bristol Medical Simulation Center was the first centre in the UK to offer medical training with realistic mannequins known as a Human Patient Simulator (HPS). The mannequins are life-size computer-controlled that can simulate the responses expected of a real patient. It is a unique facility allowing students to practise and perfect simple and highly complex procedures and clinical skills.
