NORTHWEST ATLANTIC FISHERIES COMMISSION ADVISERS' GROUPS TO MEET IN DECEMBER: In accordance with decisions taken at the Northwest Atlantic Fisheries Commission Annual Meeting held in June 1954, meetings of the groups of advisers to Panels 3, 4, and 5 are called for the week of December 6, 1954. The meetings will take place at the Atlantic Biological Station, St. Andrews, N. B., Canada. It is planned to start the meetings on December 6, at which time the group of ad- visers to Panel 5 will nneet. The meetings of the two other groups will follow in the coming days of that week. It is expected that the advisers to any special group will also attend the meetings of the other groups. Special agendas for these meetings have not been pre- pared. However, the main subjects that will be dealt with will be the following: (1) Results of research in connection with the mesh regulati
