Probably most of the descendants, other than thosein Rhode Island, would prefer that the remains be de-posited in Savannah. If, however, you have any request to prefer in thisbehalf, I am persuaded it would not only receive themost respectful consideration from Major-GeneralGreenes descendants, but would probably have thecontrolling influence.
