Main Street, Rockland Maine. This is the former First National Bank building of the town dating from the nineteenth century. It is now a commercial property but exhibits many features of a building of its period including ornate window cornices, a decorative pediment with the bank seal, stepped corbels and cast iron features on the ground floor level. This image shows a a decorative pediment carving above the primary entry door containing the seal of the former bank. Above the windows are cast iron lintels
