050418-N-5526M-012 Persian Gulf (April 18, 2005) - Sailors working in the sonar shop aboard guided missile destroyer USS Mustin (DDG 89) load a MK-46 Mod 5A[SW] torpedo into the launcher tube of the MK-32 Mod-15 Torpedo Launcher. The torpedo launcher holds three MK-46 Mod 5A torpedoes and is used to destroy enemy submarines or incoming torpedoes fired at the ship. Mustin is currently deployed with the Carl Vinson Carrier Strike Group providing Maritime Security Operations in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF).
