Knee Showing Osteoporosis
This sagital (from the side) CT reconstruction of the knee shows generalized osteoporosis and degenerative changes. There are prominent degenerative changes at the patello-femoral articulation with prominent bony osteophyte (spurs - in yellow) formation. Multidetector, spiral CT technique provides excellent images for reconstruction in multiple imaging planes.
