While the general effect of the coloring is white, H^^^^^HI ^ * there is a suggestion of pale yellow at the base of the petals. A wonderful show variety, and of proven hardiness in New England. per doz.; per 100. Elvira. Very free-flowering, producing a number of stems to a bulb; each bearing 3 to 4 large flowers, with broad, heavy white petals and a bright yellow cup, edged orange-red. 90 cts. per doz.; § per 100. Helios. The best yellow variety. Petals soft primrose-yellow, deep golden-yellow cup; flowers of good size, produced in clusters of 5 to 7 or more. $ per doz.; per 100. Laurens Koster. One of the latest introductions, and producing very large flowers; perianth pure white, deep orange-yellow cup prettily fluted. 5 to 7 flowers on a stem. 90 cts. per doz.; $ per 100. Soleil Brilliant. A fine, perfectly hardy form of the famous Soleil d'Or. Bright yellow petals and deep orange cups, from 8 to IS on a stem. Because of its hardiness it can be grown in the garden, and is excellent for growing in pots or pans indoors. § per doz.; $ per 100.
