A pair of percussion pistols, Johann Paul Sauer & Sohn, Suhl, circa 1840 Octagonal barrels with hair-rifled bores in 13 mm calibre. Dovetailed nickel silver front sights. At the breeches silver-inlaid signatures "I. P. SAUER & SOHN A SUHL". Florally engraved percussion locks with collapsible cock buffers, set triggers and repeated signatures. Light walnut stocks with horn nosepieces, chequered butts and engraved nickel silver furnitures. Replaced wooden ramrods. Length cm each.
