In spite of the great variation in the size of these cuckoos, as shownby the accompanying tables, I believe the large birds represent a distinctspecies. At least some of the variation in wing and tail measurementsis due to the more or less incomplete growth of these parts. This spe-cies has a strong tendency to albinism.
