Lotta Crabtree Fountain
Lotta Fountain on Market Street in San Francisco is a landmark donated by noted historical prostitute character Lotta Crabtree who erected the fountain for the city. After the Great Earthquake the fountain became a message center for the city where people left messages to those who were lost so they could find each other in Golden Gate Park or the east bay.
