It is only ten miles from Lake Winnipesaukee and three hours from Boston, a clean American town of about four thousand in-habitants, and its community one that minds its own business. But a part of that business, accepted without question, is to be the kindest and most quietly help- ful people to each other in genuinematerial need, of which one can con-ceive.
