The coal handling apparatus is simple, consisting of apit running the length of the power house, with rails laidabove, so that the coal can be dumped direct. A series ofarches open from the pit to the boiler room floor. It may be of interest to note that the company has a coal mineimmediately outside the power house, and coal is dumpeddirectly into the coal bin. SUBSTATIONS There are three substations—one in the power house,one at Shenango and the third at Perrysville. The elec-trical equipment is the same in each, and includes three
