An Austrian two-hand flamberge, circa 1600, Blade with wavy edges, heavy lateral guards and smith's mark stamped on one side. Extended quillons with double guard rings and finger rests on both sides. Original, nail-studded leather grip with remnants of the textile tassel. Round pommel (presumably old replacement) of a Styrian dusägge continuously lined with decorative studs. Length 174 cm.
