Marines with 2d Marine Expeditionary Brigade, and assigned to Task Force 61/2 (TF 61/2), hold a change of command ceremony June 21, 2022, in which Col. Nicholas Davis relinquished command of 2d MEB to Brig. Gen. Andrew T. Priddy in Naples, Italy. TF-61/2 provides command and control amphibious and expeditionary capabilities on an experimental basis within the European Command (EUCOM) and Africa Command’s (AFRICOM) area of operations (AOO) to protect interests, reassure Allies and Partners, and enable integrated deterrence of adversaries.
