NIGERIEN AIR BASE 201, Niger - A member of the (FAN) Niger Armed Forces (French: Forces armées nigériennes) listens during a de-brief of their field training exercise (FTX) at Nigerien Air Base, 201, Niger, Sept. 9, 2022. The 409th Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron Air Advisors put together a 28-day course to educate the Niger Armed Forces (FAN) to build the skills that are needed to counter the escalating violent extremism in the tri-border region of Niger, Burkina Faso, and Mali.
