(Jan. 23, 2018) Gunner’s Mate 2nd Class Bruce Meyer, assigned to amphibious assault ship USS Boxer (LHD 4), fires an M4 carbine from the kneeling position during a weapons qualification course. Sailors perform an annual weapons qualification course to stand armed watches. Boxer is currently in its homeport preparing for contractor sea trials.
