Royal Palace of Kandy. The last king to reside here was Sri Vikrama Rajasingha (1798-1815). It was built by Vickramabahu III in the 14th century CE.


The Royal Palace of Kandy was the official residence of the king of the Kandyan Kingdom. Sri Vikrama Rajasingha, who reigned from 1798 to 1815, was the last king to have resided there. The palace is now a museum.
