Seattle, Washington: “Allure”, a large filigree sculpture created by artists Diane Hansen and Jennifer Weddermann, was commissioned for the South Park neighborhood by King County in partnership with the Seattle Office of Arts & Culture and the Office of Economic Development. To the east, the South Park Bridge connects the neighborhood’s main business district to Seattle, near Boeing Field. The bridge opened to traffic on June 30, 2014, replacing the old bridge that was closed permanently in 2010 due to its deterioration.
