The Ennex Bakkerij and Molenaarsbedrijf De Plasmolen Logement was leased in 1885 by Mathias van der Grinten from owner Barthold Baron van Verschuer and soon renamed Hotel. The company that was continued by his sons Alphons and Harrie grew into a wide and silk well -known Hotel Café Restaurant with even a beach pool. In 1910, Alphons bought double-deckers in London for the Auto-Omnibus service Nijmegen-Plasmolen-Gennep VV to transport its guests for 45 cents one way. In 1913 the line was repressed by Maas Buurtspoorweg Nijmegen Venlo
