Old Lister Diesel Water Pump near Nehimba Hwange National Park

Hwange National park in Zimbabwe has very little surface water so most of the water to supply the wildlife has to be pumped to the surface. Most of the pumps are old and costly in fuel and repairs some have been replaced by solar powered pumps but many are neglected. The Friends of Hwange Trust funded by donations look after some as do Safari Lodges on the Private Concessions.
