Mediawijzer, a Dutch organization promoting media knowledge and research today presented the results of research conducted amongst 20 thousand families concerning online media rights. A panel of teenage experts presented the results and answered questions from media and members of parliament. The panel came to the conclusion that children's online rights should be safeguarded and enforced by an "internet police". The organising body also mentioned that it's been 25 years since the ratification of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child which has not yet been updated for the online environ
