Hind wing whitish suff'used with pale brown ; a terminal series of black points; the underside white slightly irrorated with brown, a dark discoidal point and indistinct curved postmedial line. Hah. W. Colombia, 1 $ type. Exp. 22 millim. Genus TROGOBLEMMA, nov. Type, T. amitalh. Proboscis absent; palpi porrect, extending about twice tbe length of head, triangularly fringed with scales above, moderately below, the 3rd joint short; frons smooth with tuft of hair above ; eyes large, round ; antenniB of male with long cilia ; thorax clothed almost entirely with scales and without crests; tibiie slightly fringed with hair ; abdomen without crests. Fore wing with the costa highly arched towards apex which is produced and acute, the termen strongly excised below apex and angled at vein 4, then oblique; veins 3 and 4 from near angle of cell; 6 from below upper angle ; 7 from angle; 8, 9, 10 stalked ; 11 from cell. Hind wing with veins 3, 4 shortly stalked; 5 nearly fully developed from well above angle ; 6,7 from upper angle ; 8 anastomosing with the cell to middle. *5024 h. Trogoblemma acutalis.
