CHICAGO is especially noted for itsmanufacture of furniture ; and on many of the small streams of Min-nesota, Wisconsin (Fig. 131), and Michigan, where there is waterpower, there are sawmills, furniture factories, and of these are at La Crosse and Oshkosh in Wisconsin, andSaginaw, Bay City, and Grand Rapids in Michigan.
